The drive to experiment and work with the materials of metal and ceramic, combined with a fond interest in the changing position of the human element in our world, helped to create this thesis.
This thesis was an attempt to technically explore different combinations of metal and ceramic as material, and also look at the conceptual side of the relationship. Using stereotypes of strength and fragility generally associated with metal and ceramic, I explore the relationships between human and industrial elements I see in our modern world.
